DAY 02
Zheduo Pass and Xinduqiao
Continue through the mountain-pass corridor towards Xinduqiao. Take short photographic stops and leave time to rest on arrival.

DAY 03
Via Litang to Shangri-La Town
Make the long drive through Litang towards the gateway town for Yading. Stop briefly in Litang if timing allows; the priority is reaching the overnight base comfortably.

Yading’s shorter valley route
Enter Yading for the Chonggu area and Pearl Lake route, choosing walking distances to match your condition. Return to the same overnight base.

Luorong Pasture
Return for Luorong Pasture and the surrounding mountain scenery. Longer high-altitude hikes are optional and must be assessed locally; they are not promised as part of this outline.

Back through Litang
Retrace the road through Litang towards Xinduqiao. Allow most of the day for travel and keep the evening free.

Return to Chengdu
Descend via the Kangding corridor to Chengdu. Book onward flights for the following day to avoid pressure from road delays.
